In a small suburb in Oregon, there lived a little boy named Billy, who was nine, and his younger sister Autumn, who was six.
Today Autumn and Billy were at a petting zoo. Autumn loved animals. She enjoyed holding them and petting them. Her favorite was the bunny rabbit. She loved the soft fur and long ears. She smiled when the rabbit twitched its nose. She wished she had a pet rabbit. Autumn had no pets.
On the way home Autumn dreamed about owning a pet rabbit. She did not know it, but something was about to happen to make her dream come true.
